Homemade Pumpkin Spice Smoothie
Creamy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Pumpkin pie evokes feelings of warmth, family, coziness and comfort. What if I told you a frozen, dreamy treat of a smoothie could do the same?

Well, that’s what I’m here to tell you today. With a few ingredients, no cooking and a couple minutes, you can have a pumpkin pie smoothie ready to fill those taste buds and warm your heart.

So much to love about this smoothie. Bananas, pecans, Greek yogurt and milk of choice lend the creamy factor while the pumpkin spice and maple syrup bring the warm and cozy. The pumpkin brings it’s notorious earthiness and the whole thing is simply like an unbelievable dessert.

This is not a low cal smoothie and yet it has so much goodness in one serving. It’s filling and satisfying, has good amounts of protein, calcium, potassium and vit A.

Ingredients Makes 2 servings

  • 1/2 large Frozen Banana or 1 small frozen Banana
  • 3/4 Cup Pumpkin Puree (canned)
  • 1/4 Cup Whole Pecans

  • 1/2 Cup Full-Fat Greek Yogurt
  • 2 Cups Milk Of Choice
  • 2-4 T Maple Syrup (adjust to taste)
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 7-9 Ice Cubes

Instructions

Add all ingredients, in order, into a high powered blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

Pour into two tall glasses.

Garnish with coconut whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice mix or nutmeg or cinnamon right on top!
