Human Kind Nutty Bars (Filling Healthy Snack!)

Human Kind Nutty Bars (Filling Healthy Snack!)

Take to a party, take on a hike, take to the lake, take away the “hangries!”

Human Kind Nutties are so very simple to make and keep for a week or so in an air-tight container, or more when frozen.

These are perfect for sharing or just the pick-me-up needed for a quick snack that you can feel good about!

Ingredients

  • ½ c. roughly chopped cashews
  • ½ c. raw pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ c. sunflower seeds
  • ½ c. pistachios
  • ½ c. rough chopped almonds (Can swap out any other nuts such as pecans, walnuts etc.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Dark Molasses
  • 2 Tbsp. Maple Syrup
  • ½ tsp salt

Directions

Prepare an 8×8 baking pan by lining the whole thing with parchment paper.

Turn the oven on to 300 degrees f.

Mix all seeds and nuts and then drizzle the molasses and maple syrup to mix the whole thing up until all seeds are coated.

Sprinkle salt from above and mix together.

Press mixture into the pan, spreading to all sides, evenly.

Bake for 20-25 minutes. Look for a deepening of color.

Take the pan out of the oven and allow it to cool for 15 – 20 minutes before cutting it into squares.

Allow to finish cooling.

Meanwhile, set up a baking sheet by lining it with some parchment paper, then mix up the Chocolate…the Chocolate dipping coating.

Mix together in a small bowl, 1 Tbsp. Coconut Oil melted, 1 Tbsp. Raw Cacao or Cocoa powder, 2 Tbsp. Maple Syrup.

Dip half of each cluster into the chocolate coating and place it onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Place in the freezer or refrigerator for 10 minutes before transferring to an airtight container and storing in the refrigerator until serving.
